Chickens

 Gaining hens on our farm has been invaluable. We utilize their natural  foraging behaviors to 'weed' our future cold frame plots. They also  love eating leftover veggies from the garden, and enjoy our leftover  squash and pumpkins in the winter. 

We are only raising chickens small scale, as the cost of production/processing is quite high.
